~ My New Kitchen ~

For those of you who have been following along my blog for a while you will know we have been in the midst of a kitchen renovation.  I am happy to say it is complete enough to finally share with you all.  We are really happy with how it has all come together.  It’s light, bright and there is so much more space to work in.  Our kitchen sits in the centre of our home and it finally feels warm and welcoming.  Oh and the island bench, it is heavenly.  It is close to two metres long and it has really made the kitchen a wonderful space to work and entertain.  We had friend’s over the other week and I was able to prepare dinner and chat without walking around people, unlike our previous kitchen.  We are looking forward to many hearty meals together.  I will share details of the renovation at a later date.  Remember the kitchen before!  We are so glad to be rid of the old pink kitchen.

I love the island bench

Oven cooks beautifully

This is pretty close to the true colour of the flooring

Last, but not least, the kitchen sink

(PS, darling husband, I can’t promise that it will still look like this when you get home tonight)

Can I just chime in and say that I LOVE your new kitchen space? Totally worth the stress and effort – it is the item that will totally *make* your house, truly!

…and as someone who live with a ‘snap’ of the pink kitchen, take it from me!…
ps: I’m actually thinking of coming and camping in your kitchen, when the bad peach of my own overwhelms me!

It’s gorgeous! I am so impresses that you and your family did this yourselves. It must be such a pleasure cooking in it. I’d probably take any opportunity to just walk by and take a peek.

Love, love, love it! You’ve inspired me to get myself sorted and post some pics of our kitchen, though it is 100% finished. We have an island to and it is the best thing ever! So glad you are all done, settled and using this wonderful space : )

Wow! Just….wow! It looks amazing! I absolutely adore white kitchens….though, I don’t have one myself. : ( I love the sleek, clean look of it all…and the hood over your stove is really cool. I’ve not seen one like that before. It’s very nice. (P.S. Anna just came and sat next to me, so I showed her these pics. She said “WHOA. Scarlett has an awesome kitchen!”)

ditto to comments above, my son: your new kitchen is a credit to you (and your Dad’s assistance). Remembering what it looked like when I last visited, the transformation is nothing short of stunning! Congratulations: I wish you much enjoyment from your efforts and can just imagine Jacinta’s pure delight at having such a fantastic place in which to create her wonderful recipes and food. It’s definitely a family-oriented heart of the home and I’m sure you’ll have great fun creating many memories to treasure.

    God bless and much love
