Yarn Along

Joining in with Ginny at Small Things yarn along this week.

Oh, my this will be my third post today.  That’s a first and promise there has been no caffeine involved!  I am a little further along with Scarlett’s dress.  Jairah very kindly pulled it off the needles this morning.  thankfully I was able to get it back on the needles without having to rip it back far.  Silly me for not putting my knitting away last night.  He was very happily tapping the needles together (well they do make a nice sound!).

I have given myself a break from The Lacuna.  A magazine I subscribe to, Australian Smocking and Embroidery arrived in the mail, so I am considering that my reading material for the next couple of days.

Can’t wait to see what everyone has been up to this week.  I have a little giveaway going too if you want to check it out.

The dress is coming along so well – I still love that blue! I’m glad you averted a disaster with the curious little guy! I’ve had too many of those scares and I just don’t learn.

Thanks Rachel. Curious indeed is our boy! Jacinta x

Oh, how the wee ones like to help! This one her asks for her ‘knitting’ daily and love to help with mine. Do you smock? Smocking is something I would love to learn…on day. Have a wonderful day Jacinta.
PS-Is there snow on the ground?

    • Jacinta

I’ve sent an email. But in short, I do smock and sadly no snow just lots of rain! Don’t often get much snow here. Jacinta x

Lovely, kind, calm response to your little Jairah. My little boy did the same last night to a piece – we just carried on – I thought the same thing, ‘shouldn’t have left it out!’ Enjoy your reading. It is so cold here – an hour north of Sydney – feels like it must be snowing somewhere tonight. Take care, Love Katie x

Oh that book/magazine looks fun! I’ve been so into sewing lately, I seem to go back and forth between sewing and knitting…then I throw in some felting, woodwork…I’m a bit all over the place. So glad your knitting was saved!
