New Kitchen Has Arrived!

The new kitchen arrived today, flat packed.  Of course we were lead to believe that there would be two people unloading it, but no, just one.  I ended up having to help unload lots of pieces, some pretty heavy, so I am feeling it tonight.  I won’t complain too much, as I have been looking forward to this dream kitchen for some time.  Now for the fun part, putting the pieces together.  It’s one big jigsaw really.  We are just hoping there are some instructions in one of the boxes!  I’ll leave that one for Greg and his dad to puzzle over.

Some assembly required!!

It will be very interesting getting by without a kitchen for at least the next 2 1/2 weeks and with at least 7 people to cater for, I will hopefully continue to be creative with meals. Hmm, let’s see.

I know you must be so excited! I think you mentioned before that you own a crockpot? I would be preparing lots of meal in mine. There is a website and I can’t remember the name, where the woman used her crockpot every day and posted what she had prepared. Ok, she changed the name of the site, but I found it…

7 people and no kitchen?! That is quite the endeavour, but I’m sure it means you’ll appreciate your new space even more. Can’t wait to see pictures!

So. Exciting! Looking forward to see the final results! And, good luck with the cooking; do you have any good carryout close by?! (That would be my solution anyway.)

Been without a stove for 6 weeks years ago when the girls were little and that was a drama. But at least I still had a kitchen of sorts to work in with slow cooker, frypan and BBQ with oven hood we survived. Cant wait to see the flat packs transformed into your beautiful kitchen!

That is exciting. The kitchen is always the hub in the home. Somehow everyone ends up in it…at the same time. Oh, I’m sure we’ll see more and more of your lovely recipes as the kitchen is completed.
