{"id":1472,"date":"2012-02-13T11:53:04","date_gmt":"2012-02-13T11:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.embracingitall.com\/?p=1472"},"modified":"2012-02-13T11:53:04","modified_gmt":"2012-02-13T11:53:04","slug":"new-flooring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.embracingitall.com\/?p=1472","title":{"rendered":"New flooring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After much discussion as to what flooring we wanted to put down in the remaining two bedrooms, lounge and dining area, we decided to stick with carpet. \u00c2\u00a0Originally we were going to use floating bamboo flooring like we did in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.embracingitall.com\/?p=1250\">girls rooms<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.embracingitall.com\/?p=1365\">kitchen<\/a>, but unfortunately the bamboo we were using was discontinued (a con of doing renos at our snail paced speed!). \u00c2\u00a0 So off to a carpet shop we went. \u00c2\u00a0Thankfully we had a great selection to choose from in our price range and better still, Greg and I both liked the same colour.<\/p>\n<p>The carpet was laid today. \u00c2\u00a0We are very happy with our choice and it is so lovely to walk on. \u00c2\u00a0We were so tempted not to put furniture back in place, as the minimalistic look was very appealing. \u00c2\u00a0I love the idea of not having things to dust!
